objects 1

There are various objects throughout the worlds of xmp. These can be things such as deploypoints, manned turrets or generators. Here I will give a quick runthrough on each one of them.

Generators
The generators are objects that produces energy, each team needs 800 energy for their artifact nodes to work which are a must to win. When the game starts these generators are green, meaning they are neutral, not owned by any team. If you encounter a generator (they are displayed on the radar) and it's not controlled by your team, you can step up to it and hack it (aim at it and hold F). When your team controlls it, it will swap color to your teams color. Now the generator will add a little energy to your teams energy pool every second. Of course you can also steal generators from the opposite team to decrease their energy income!

The more generators your team own the faster your energy pool gets filled. The faster it's filled the quicker things starts to work. If your team controlls alot of generators techs can stop hesitating and deploy lots of deployables for a solid defence and the offence could use vehicles and manned turrets without thinking about energy. So, as you probably already know, it's all about energy!

Deploy points
On every map, both teams already own one or two deploy points from the beginning. From these points people can spawn! But to advance closer to your enemy's base you should hack other deploy points out in the field. By controlling more deploy points it's easier to cover larger areas of a map and to quick get into the battle without having to walk long distances.

To change which deploypoint to spawn, simply press space and then click primary fire button. Each deploypoint has a set time when people can spawn. These times often varies between points so if there's a very high spawntime on the one you're about to spawn on, you can try to swap to another point where the time might be alot less!

Manned Turrets
These turrets can be manned by finding the controll panel, often looks like a big football of metall, and using it. By doing so you enter it. When controlling a turret you gain alot more hitpoints and greater firepower giving you advantage in the area. Note, turrets can't move so look out for incoming shock cores or emp grenades and keep track on your turrets health! Also if someone shoots at the controll panel instead of the turret itself, the damage is multiplied with two! So, if you're tech make sure to put up an auto-turret behind you or some force fields.

There are six different turrets:

The mortar is the most destructive weapon in the whole game, it's splash damage is enormous and one bullet almost kills a juggernaut! The only downside is that it is quite slow to manouvre so changing dirctions can take more time then you have. Note, this baby drains ALOT energy. Do not use it if your energy level is already dropping. Hitpoints: 600.

The swingarm turret is a swift moving and fast fireing cannon, that spits out lots of green concentrated energy. It's projectiles are very fast moving, making it a good weapon against vehicles, but it's not effective at all versus players. Hitpoints: 600.

The giant turret is an anti vehicle weapon for sure. It destroys any vehicle with one shot and hit. Not too good versus other players except rangers. Note, this baby drains ALOT energy. Do not use it if your energy level is already dropping. Hitpoints: 600.

The winged cannon is slightly more powerfull then the swingarm turret and fires blue lasers instead of green. Effective versus all. Hitpoints: 600.

The roundhouse turret is a good hop-in-and-kill turret. It fires the exact same bullets as a raptor, making it good versus all. Hitpoints: 400.

The carnival turret is the same as the roundhouse turrets, the only difference is that this turret is moveable. It can go higher and lower by pressing fowards and backwards. Hitpoints: 600.

Stations
Throughout some maps there can be different stations. On these a player can reload health, armour or ammo depending on the station type. Orange gives health, blue armour and green suplies with ammo.
