hud 1

Xmp features a very advanced HUD with much to keep track on compared to other games. I will here state what everything means and what priority they have.

1. These bars show your current health and shield quality. The yellow one indicates health and the blue one armour.

2. This one show your current ammo count. The yellow bar shows how many bullets left in the gun and the blue one how many you got in your backpack if you need to reload.

3. These bars indicates how much stamina and what speed you're going in. The yellow one is stamina which is used when you're holding down the sprint button, which makes you run faster. So when you're holding down sprint the blue bar (speed bar) increases showing that you're running faster. The speed var also show speed with vehicles and so on.

Here's also shown the current status of the four artifacts. If one is flashing red or blue, that means the opposite team has stolen it and is heading back to his own node to score. If it's dark non-flashing, it means he/she has died and dropped it on the ground waiting for someone to pick it up.

4. This is the radar, use it often to localise things. For example if you see that your team doesn't own all generators/deploy points you can localise where the enemy owned gen/dp is. The radar shows icons of objects and also which team that controls it. It's also useful if you're new to a map to localise the enemy artifact node. You can even see your team mates when they are close enough.

Read more about the radar here.

5. These are the most important vars on the HUD. The yellow one indicates how much personal energy you have, which you use for boosting. The blue one indicates how much energy there is in your teams' energy pool. To the right there are a number of icons of objects, when the blue var reaches one of them it turns from red into green which means that object is now supplied with energy and can be used. There is also a number above the yellow meter which indicates the exact amount of energy your team has.
It also shows the current status of the generators. if one is black that means that generator is neutral. To localise a generator with a specific color, check out your radar!
