Perhaps the most split map within the stock collection, unlike the other maps there is no way to travel quickly between the two sections, once youre in the the caves or on the beach it is unlikely you'll be going to the other section without a respawn or an artifact run. This makes it much more simple for a team to attack as if your team owns one section of the map, that part tends to be safe to escape through. This is also a potentially energy draining map as it only has three energy sources all of which are in enclosed spaces, making them very accessible to gunners and techs. Remember; all screenshots are enlargeable. Jump 1: This jump is simply useful but is also rarely used due to the amount of boost energy it requires, it helps you escape quickly from the caves to your base with the use of a walljump. Jump up from the platform and walljump off the marked point but dont boost for the second time until after you have reached the apex of your jump and just started falling again, hitting the boost button now should launch you the final distance up this slope. This is particularly useful whenbeing chased through the caves and trying to escape.
Jump 2: This jump is approprite when attacking the caves from your base or when escaping from the enemy base into the caves. Although this jump is very simple and requires no knowledge of wall jumps or slope jumps, it is nevertheless very useful for moving slightly faster around sunset beach. To do this jump just stand near the furthest left part of the first arrow in the image and dodge jump (not boost) off it in the direction of the arrow. While in the air hold the crouch key so your head doesnt hit the ceiling, you should fall at the perfect angle to take you all the way down the slope and arrive in the caves just that little bit quicker that could make the difference between life and death. - Written by aiKo
